It stands on the outskirts of the island, floating on the ocean. Strangely though is that the gym leader uses fighting pokemon and isn’t at all friendly. I wonder how the people could cope with him.

Shupwood Island
Shupwood island is the western island. Different from its twin, Shupwood island is a lushus, sweet smelling island with evergreen trees. Thin rays of the sun go through the trees. The town is so friendly that you would almost hate to leave. The people here have amazing hearing skills, it must be something special for them.
